@ 187...thats plain wrong bro....i never got mistletoe..why'd u wanna french yer own family, heck ain't that incest?? (thats a serious question as well) i'm not opposed to family stuff, we used to do all that stuff too, but we'd all congregate at my parents house almost yearly, everyone would stay--its like 8 people to a bedroom..lol..family everywhere, heck i used to get real tiered of sleeping with that many i'd usually go crash in the car - just so no1 farts in my face..or stink up a whole room. x-mas day was great..there was like the 8ft tree, and all the kiddies would decorate it, (firstly they'd fight over the tinsle and stuff) and usually it turned out like a 40mm .203 round hit the tree..lol the tinsle would just be chcked on the tree, coz after they finished fighting they'd be bored of it all. then came like the 5 turkeys, ( one time we had some chicken too..that was fugging cooll turkey chicken both stuffed..friggin awesome) full trimmings, - and then all the dads would just hack at a turkey each, --beer everywhere, even the kids getting pissed on abaycham..lol..champagne for the ladies, white wine red wine...all the teen age boys trying to steal beer, but the moms tellinu m off, so the dad would intervene and say hey its chrisams, go ahead knock yourself out kiddo (which usually happened) - the the moms would b*** back...jeez ok...i cold go on, but its turning into a essay...anyway people grow up. Enjoy while u can brothers (and sisters) yo mak wanna share drinkin traditions..lol

I thought it was just my family that bitched during the tree trimming ;D during opening of gifts ;D and during dinner ;D . When you become an adult, thankfully you can choose who to spend holidays with since some people can really be a**holes and ruin it. Must be what you did, spend it with people you like? All of our extended family (that we like) lives in the same area. Trust me though, when you have a family of your own someday it gets a whole lot better. My kids aren't old enough to decorate the tree yet, but they pull stuff of the tree and we can't put gifts under it til Christmas Eve or they'll rip them............. man it's like having fricken animals. ;D It's so fun though. 187 ROTFLMFAO! I heard on the radio someone talking about taking the turkey neck, zipping it up in his pants so it was hanging out, and answering the door that way. ;D

spend the christmas at a bar.... that should be quite a boring thing....maybe not to u, but to me it is... y dont u go and spend the holiday with your family? or friends? or girlfriend? or someone that u even dont know who that person is? i should had started with the question, do u like this day? or u arent christian? or Jewish? if u arent...thats not a problem at all, just do like everyone else imagin that this is a speccial day were u are with the ppl that u love and spend a good time with them...this day isnt just to celebrat the Christmas day...or Channukkah...or to make a tree or give gifts to our family and friends. its day where all forget the problems that we have and just enjoy the companny of each others. its just what i think...

I'm a guy that lost his faith. long ago. Now i walk the line between heaven an hell. Is there a GOD maybe. An i don't believe in the devil HE BELIEVE'S IN ME. An christmas is just another day like neo said. Like yer birthday but you still go out an get drunk though.

Is there a GOD maybe. An christmas is just another day like neo said. u think i dont know that....u arent the only one that thinks that christmas is just another day....i wanst talking about religion it self, cause i dont belive in god either thats y i quite church and stuff like that a long long long time ago... the only meaning that it has to me is that is an opportunity where family is all together (cause i have family in different spots of country and in france too) and to make and eat some speaciall sweets or a different dinner and in the end we all go see some fireworks like int the new year...

I spend all night Chrismas Eve helping my mother wrap presents (since Mom will not place them under the tree til everyone else goes to bed). I mean, my youngest brother is only 19 for pete's sake! And maybe I'm missing something here, but who says you can't hang with the family and still go out drinking? The sibs and I have frequently celebrated disfunctional family night on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. After a full day of warm fuzzie family feelings liberaly laced with Irish coffee and wine, you head out into the cold night and get a blast of energizing crisp winter air that just screams out FAMILY DRUNK! lol. And theres always a couple of bars open, and you usually run into someone you know who has their family in tow too Good Times Ari
