I agree Ari and ty for clarifying. Rudeness and prejudice under the guise of spam does bother me enormously and I think it is unacceptable. Also as bubbs has mentioned you cannot control a public setting so that what we can do is be sure to point out and voice our opinions about such rudeness and prejudices when it occurs. Let people know that you dont appreciate their rudeness or whatever when it occurrs and I encourage all to do the same.

i do agree that there is a problem with rudeness and prejudice. however, i do not see a problem with topics that go astray. as ive said before, that should be expected with such a wide variety of people.

yep, actually it can be interesting at times because it models after real conversation. When you talk back and forth its not too often that you can stay exactly on topic. Matter of fact sometimes people say things that you'd never even think of and you're like "hey thats a new twist to the topic" Oh, I forgot to add that I do agree with you bubbs that sometimes you need to talk about serious stuff in a private setting to avoid spam...as I discovered tonight, it was easier to see how you felt and why by msn messaging each of you (we actually managed to stay on topic really well, argue, disagree and agree in a grown up manner. gj ladies )
