Seriously, What are the glitches?
Now, I know that wall climbing is a glitch because people complain about it. I know that if you lay down on one of the adobe buildings with the tower, you can shoot through the little wall and still see, so I figure thats a glitch.
But what about the stone wall with the barbed wire? You can usually jump from the side that doesn't have the wire angled towards it, as long as you do the jump-crouch-jump thing.
And what about the people who do that jump, laydown, jump, laydown dancing thing?
I never paid attention unless people told me I was glitching. Once a night there is usually someone saying 'so and so' is glitching, but they rarely explain or if they do I don't understand it.
Is there a list somewhere that I missed? Also, can you always tell if you are glitching. I saw a picture once of someone who was kinda laying through the top of the roof, is it obvious when you are that person that you are half in and half out of a building?
Ari ever curious

ok Ari, i've been informed of two types of glitches:
1)glitches where you do stuff that can't be done in real life or stuff you weren't intended to be able to do in the game like hopping around or hoping and going prone to avoid being shot prone jumping to get over high walls prone jumping over barbed wire walls
2)glitches where u can see people but they can't see you like when you get stuck in a wall and instead of killing yourself you shoot through it and kill others looking through walls and hiding in them etc. glitching through a wall on respawn
but here is where it gets sticky. there are different glitches but its up to the server/host to decide which ones are allowed and which ones are not. This gets terribly annoying when one member says its ok and another says its not. thats all can think to say so good luck with figuring out what is legal and what is not
i'm sure others will give more advice

Take a look at a former KUL'er, Order's, page, where he goes into great detail, with screenshots, all regarding glitches. It hasn't been updated in a while, but the majority are there. www.df-ss.com/order/glitches/

if u can be shot with a m4, it isnt a glitch (that doesnt incude nades/laws/m203s) I'd have to disagree a little on that statement, as there are spots where it's possible for a person to be killed with an m4, but since they are completely invisible (laying in a roof of a straw hut, for example), there's no way for the person with the m4 to get a chance to find them. Eagle, Order's computer decided the graphics in df2 and BHD were far too advanced for it; until he can get a faster processor and better video card, he's taken a leave of absence. I agree, excellent thread Ari.

ya thats true bish...ill restate that
if you cant be killed by a m4 burst/semi, and/or your invisible, its a glitch
btw, some people (including me) considering glitching cheating

Glitching definately is not honorable...but its soo much fun killin em when they try ;D..... any glitcher can be killed its just not everyone knows how to do it. Different weapons are needed of course and as long as its not being abused like most true glitchers do I can tolerate it. I dont do it but I tolerate it. As for prone jumping to avoid being shot, it goes with the game as we all know. That is acceptable..if it isnt then why do we run up a hill at the same speed no matter how steep...or jump off a steep hill to kill someone......or off a three story building to get a flag or kill someone...as it is we would like to play as real as we could..but if that was the case it wouldnt be a game would it. Cheats I will not tolerate but certain aspects of the game cannot be avoided but can be adjusted to.

ya i agree with mage, if things like jumping those short stone walls and bullet dodging is glitching, then just about every1 in df2 is a glitcher
thats why things like that are allowed (unless you play A&D/S&D)

Or in SJ'sNoSaws...They don't tolerate any form of prone jumping
