Perhaps some of you older members remember me as |KUL| Puppy. If you do, what's up kids? Long time, no see. I bought a new computer and after installing DF2 and dffavs and updating CB, I get sysdumps after every map regardless of what server I am in. I'll list the computer specs if that helps you at all. Thanks in advance for the help.
HP Pavilion
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor
3700+
990MHz, 960 MB of RAM
Windown XP Media Center Edition with Service Pack 2
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Series
200 Gig Hard Drive
Not sure what else would help.

Hey puppy, yeah I remember you. It has been a looooooooooonnng time. I'm not sure that I can offer much.
Have you tried contacting Cool? I saw him saying something the other day to another player that newer systems cause more conflicts and sysdumps.

puppy man what's happenin??
is ur comp using an internet connection through a router? cause i found when i tried i was getting alot of problems trying to play.
the only other thing that i can think of this to get it set so that when you run df2, your comp acts like a win99 instead of a winXP. this can be done, but i jsut can't remember how, cause i remeber i tried it with the old red alert games on my comp and i got them to work. actually, if u rightclick on the program, and click the "compatibility", and set that to run the program as a win 99 or somthing, that may work. but i dunno, so if you wanna try it go for it

Hello to all my 3-AD homies and homettes. Actually, I decided to try to update the drivers for my video card and I updated to direct x 9.0c and so far, all is well. Thanks for all your help. See you on the field!  |
