I will start this by saying that I don't condone cheating or glitching.
But anyways, I was wading through all the vitriolic rants on the Kul boards and it got me thinking about glitches, unobvious cheats (not speeders or high jumpers or anything like that, but maybe any cheat that gives a slight advantage, but not enough to truly overcome bad play), and people who are just really skilled. I was kinda thinking along the lines of WHO CARES! I find it pathetic that someone might find the need to cheat on a regular basis, but at the same time I also look at it as a challenge.
Because quite honestly, I can't tell when people are good or cheating. If (or I should say when) I get into the mentality of "this is unreal, they must be cheating!" then I end of getting frustrated with every little thing that goes wrong after that. I get angry and unreasonable and that affects no one but me!
So I've gotten into the habit of just saying f*ck it and looking at the situation as a new challenge. You really have no control over if the other person is really just very skilled, or is cheating. Either way you are slightly outclassed, so take it as an oportunity to get better.
And if you can't get past the fact that you are getting stomped on, then it's time to take a little break from game play, because it is still ONLY A GAME!
